While finalizing the last details of DustIQ I’m also getting ready to show it at some key events in solar energy: Intersolar South America in Sao Paolo, Solar Power International in Las Vegas, the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition in Amsterdam and Solar Asset Management in Milan. What I’ve learned so far at events is that we can talk about it for hours, but DustIQ is actually fairly simple in principle.
What a success it was, the introduction of the brand new DustIQ soiling monitor. The news about a compelling change in measuring PV panel soiling levels spread like wildfire. At the Kipp & Zonen booth hundreds of people showed up with just one goal: “Show and explain to me the DustIQ”, sometimes followed by “Can I buy one now?”.
If you have missed it, please go to www.kippzonen.com/DustIQ for the latest information.
Having worked hard on our new products for 6 months in a row it was time for a well-earned vacation and recharge for the introduction of DustIQ and RT1 at Intersolar Europe. The first is a real breakthrough in the technology to measure PV panel soiling and the second is a very practical sensor to monitor the efficiency of commercial PV rooftop installations.
