In continuation of the launch of our unique RT1 Smart Rooftop Monitoring System at Intersolar Europe in Munich early 2017, we took the opportunity to exhibit and promote it at Intersolar India in December 2017.
When we introduced the RT1 Rooftop Monitoring System at Intersolar in Munich we were aiming at commercial availability within 4 months and I’m happy to say we have succeeded! RT1 is now ready to order.
Customers in Asia and in Europe have purchased and received the very first RT1’s and are testing them. Soon we’ll be able to share with you their findings.
Two weeks ago already, Intersolar’s 2017 show was over. It was a good exhibition. Lots of innovations could be found and, as always, Intersolar Europe is a very efficient place for networking and relationship management. Our new innovation DustIQ proved to be very welcome to the solar industry.
It was a pleasure to meet people from all over the world at the booth and I value all the feedback that we received. Let me share some of the insights I have obtained for DustIQ and RT1.
What a success it was, the introduction of the brand new DustIQ soiling monitor. The news about a compelling change in measuring PV panel soiling levels spread like wildfire. At the Kipp & Zonen booth hundreds of people showed up with just one goal: “Show and explain to me the DustIQ”, sometimes followed by “Can I buy one now?”.
If you have missed it, please go to www.kippzonen.com/DustIQ for the latest information.
Having worked hard on our new products for 6 months in a row it was time for a well-earned vacation and recharge for the introduction of DustIQ and RT1 at Intersolar Europe. The first is a real breakthrough in the technology to measure PV panel soiling and the second is a very practical sensor to monitor the efficiency of commercial PV rooftop installations.
